By encouraging safe work behaviors and implementing processes, policies, and procedures, CSL Behring will ensure the health and safety of all employees, contractors, visitors, and the community who are associated with our world-wide operations.

Operational Imperatives

Specifically, CSL Behring will:

• Promote environmental, health and safety awareness among employees, contractors, visitors and the community to increase the understanding of environmental, health and safety matters.
  
  
• Progressively establish an integrated management system for the Environment that links environmental, health and safety guidelines to procedures that comply with legislative requirements.
  
  
• Verify systems, processes and procedures are adequately supervised and monitored to ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and approvals.
  
  
• Continually measure and manage environmental, health and safety performance and develop annual environmental, health and safety objectives or continuous improvements.
  
  
• Continually assess systems, process and procedures that have environmental, health and safety aspects relating to the manufacture of our products.
  
  
• Participate in community and government sponsored environmental, health and safety initiatives.
  
  
• Perform environmental, health and safety auditing on an annual basis to ensure the effective monitoring of Environmental, Health and Safety Systems throughout CSL Behring’s operations, in accordance with statutory requirements.
